ARSC 104 Module 2

Age & Size of the Universe

Module 2: Age and Size of the Universe explores fundamental scientific theories in the field of cosmology, including the Big Bang theory. Students examine the scientific evidence supporting the Big Bang, as well as current estimates of the age and size of the universe. The module also highlights how this evidence was collected and the technologies used to make these discoveries. Class discussions include engaging topics such as the possibility of extraterrestrial life and connects to lectures covered in Module 1 around science and religion.
